What Stemzel Is
Welcome to Stemzel. By downloading, installing, or using Stemzel ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use the App — no hard feelings, it just means we part ways here.
Stemzel is developed and maintained by an independent developer ("the Developer," "we," "us"). Stemzel is not operated by a registered company or corporate entity.
License & Purchase
Stemzel is sold as a one-time purchase of $7.99, granting you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control.
This is a license to use the software, not a sale of the software itself. We retain ownership of the App's code, design, and branding.
No subscription, no recurring charges, no surprise fees. You pay once, it's yours.
We reserve the right to offer updates, new features, or future paid upgrades separately, but your existing purchase will keep working as-is.
Refunds
Refunds are handled according to the policy of the platform you purchased through (App Store, Google Play, etc.). We don't independently process payments or refunds outside of what that platform allows.
Your Content & Audio Files
All audio files you process through Stemzel stay on your device. We do not collect, upload, store, or have any access to your audio files.
You are solely responsible for the audio files you choose to process, including ensuring you have the rights or permissions necessary to use, split, or modify them.
Stemzel is a tool. What you do with it — and whether that's legal — is between you and, well, whoever owns the rights to what you're splitting.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the App or its underlying model in violation of applicable licenses.
Use Stemzel for unlawful purposes.
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute your copy of the App to others.
Intellectual Property
Stemzel's htdemucs-based processing relies on open-source components. The Stemzel app itself — including its interface, branding, and code — is the property of the Developer, except where third-party open-source licenses apply.
No Warranty
Stemzel is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that stem separation will be perfect, that the App will be free of bugs, or that it will meet your specific needs. Audio separation technology is good, not magic.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Stemzel, including but not limited to data loss, lost profits, or that one remix that didn't come out right.
Total liability, in any case, is limited to the amount you paid for the App ($7.99).
Termination
We reserve the right to discontinue support for the App at any time. Since Stemzel runs locally, you can keep using your existing copy even if future updates or support end.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to this Terms Of Service
We reserve the right to update or change this Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the effective date will be updated accordingly. We encourage you to review this Terms of Service periodically for any updates.
